Fellowships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships are available with a total compensation package of $23,000 per year in 2005-06. The teaching assistantships involve laboratory instruction for undergraduate labs for the following courses:

GENE 301 (Genetics)
GENE 432 (Molecular Genetics)

Two Regents Fellowships are awarded each year by our program to two first-year graduate candidates that exemplify high standards in academics and research work. Regents Fellows are exempt from teaching in their first year, but they must fulfill a teaching requirement at a later date in their graduate courses.
