Diverse facilities are available for advanced instruction and individual student research through the Faculty of Genetics. These vary from high-resolution mass spectroscopy equipment to forestry breeding lots. Among the specialized facilities are high-resolution electron microscopy equipment, DNA-sequencing laboratories, plant tissue culture facilities, animal tissue culture laboratories, live-animal facilities, controlled-environment greenhouses, and extensive agricultural fields for breeding programs.
